My friend lived in Boulder, Colorado for many years, and her garden was always so beautiful. Eventually, she moved to Salida, Colorado, where things grow, but due to the altitude, very slowly. "I can't even grow a tulip up here" she lamented. She sent me a picture of the hammock that used to reside in their Boulder garden, complete with the spectacular San Juan mountain backdrop of their new, flowerless yard.
